My ecological footprint
So i was doing a small test in class that was all about how many hectares i need to survive. before i say what my total was i want to say that the average person in Quebec needs 9 hectares to live, my total however was 17.95 hectares. yes i know, my total is a little higher but understand that my total is because i live in a city, a densly populated area full of people who probably if i had to make an educated guess would use maybe 19-25 hectares. aside from that lets talk about how to reduce our ecological footprint. in order to do this we need to focus on what makes us so wasteful, myself personally is a wasteful person when it comes to driving because i have a country place where i have a lot of machines that are all gas powered and they all run year round except for the seasonal machines, (for those of you who dont know what that means its things like boats and snowmobiles). so basically i use alot of machinery and that does tend to pollute making me a very big polluter. to improve my ecological footprint i will try to reduce emissions by using the machines less and taking less trips up there. as for you guys, i would say whatever you guys are doing that makes you pollute or have a stronger bad impression on the earth so to speak, reduce it, or reduce usage on it.

Maybe your future goal can be to invent a greener way to power all of those machines. It's a big goal... but it's a good one.
